[LM_NET] TAR: 2nd grade weather and sound novel

Hi all! Long time reader, first time poster. :) I have a 2nd grade teacher who 
wants a novel for her students to read that coincides with their study of Sound and 
Weather in science class. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe something in the 
adventure genre would work, but I'm not having any luck finding something suitable 
for a whole 2nd grade class of varying skill levels. Thanks in advance!!
