[LM_NET] Sec: Teaching History

I have a senior doing his Capstone Project on teaching History thematically 
vs chronologically.  Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find resources to 
back his thesis that it is better to teach History thematically rather than 
chronologically?  Thank you,
