LM_NET Archive



Read The Mitten by Jan Brett, review the order of animals.
 
Now act out the story.
 
I play Baba and the narrator .
 
I give Nikki this big green sheet, (yes they must use their imagination)
 
When Nikki goes off to play, he drops the mitten.
 
I then point to kids to be the mole, the fox  and crawl under the sheet, When I say 
the mouse's tail tickled the bears nose, the bear sneezes, ususally very loudly, 
 and they throw off the sheet and run away. I do believe they would do this for 
hours. And everybody gets a turn.
