Although I know that some of you are in school districts that won't
allow you to download programs to your school / library computers, I
thought you might still be interested in downloading this application
to your home computer or laptop.

Cyber-Smart! provides a great "instant research" toolbar that allows
you to quickly locate:

*  Professional Organizations in Education
* K-12 Curriculum Content on the web (by level--Elementary, Middle
School,or High School)
*  Best Sites for Educators
* Library Resources--- including a link to EACH state's Online
Database access page
* A Web Search link for locating the best resources using the most
effective browsers
* A Web 2.0 Tools link--- which not only includes some of the more
popular links to resources such as blogs, wikis, podcasting, etc., but
also provides a detailed description of what each of those things are
for those who are just investigating the concept.

To download your CyberSmart! Toolbar, go to:
http://cybersmarttoolbar.com/main/toolbar_registration.php?cookie_set=2

I downloaded the toolbar this afternoon and my favorite resource so
far has been the list of the Online Databases for each state---what a
time saver!!

(Also, if you're interested, CyberSmart! Also has a K-12 Curriculum
available that you can access at: http://cybersmartcurriculum.org/ )

Enjoy!
