[LM_NET] ELEM: Book Suggestions Wanted

Our 5th grade teacher has found some notes lying around her classroom with
derogatory remarks about other students and teachers and comments that a
student was bored.  So she would like to give that student something to do.
She would like suggestions of 5th grade level chapter books that deal with
the themes like being nice to others, not acting snotty, ect. that she can
have the student read and summarize.  Do you have any suggestions?
