[LM_NET] Serena Hayes--Need book title

Hi all,
 
i am searching for a book title that was available in the sixties.  It is about a 
baby (humpbacked, I think)  whale and her trip to warmer waters with her mother.  
On the way they see killer whales and dolphins.  The baby whale drinks her mothers 
milk and the size of the whales is discussed.
 
It is similar to Ann McGovern's "The Humpback Whale" but in a different format.  I 
remember it being more like P.D. Eastman or Dr. Seuss but with different artwork.
 
Any ideas?
