[LM_NET] SHARE: Weekly Update for Book Trailers for All (May 3, 2010)

Welcome to this week’s update on

.  (May 3, 2010)  We have been in existence for nine weeks.  There have been
9,902 trailer downloads from the site, and we have 98 trailers in all.  The
group on Teacher Tube now has 1,426 members.  If this is the first time you
are hearing about these book trailer sharing avenues, please view the Documents

BTFA.



The trailer

has been updated to reflect details for all books that have
trailers on our site.



There has been a trailer
creators<https://www.4shared.com/document/HKWq3K5j/Trailer_Creators.html>document
added that lists the name, locations, emails and blogs/websites of
trailer creators.  (With the exception of student creators)



*Tip of the Week:*  Load all of the trailers into iTunes on a library
computer and put the Trailer Details spreadsheet next to it.  This way,
students can browse the spreadsheet to read summaries of books, and then
pull up only the trailer they want to view, rather than having to wait for
it on the loop. (With almost a hundred trailers, that’s a LONG loop!)

is very different—but each trailer makes me want to read the book.  I think
it’s an excellent way to show how individually people reacts to what they
read.*
