Thanks to everyone who responded!  I apologize if I did not send a specific
thanks, but I got distracted in the middle of compiling the list and am only
now getting back to it.  I really appreciate the input.

The compiled list is below, with an * beside any book, series or author that
mentioned more than once.  Some of them may be of a higher reading level
than Harry Potter, but many are recommended as suitable for the 2-4th grade
reading levels that I requested.
