I am giving two reading celebration parties tomorrow, one for grades 1-2 and another for grades 3-5. I was thinking of giving the kids a few fun facts about libraries, reading, authors, or books... but I have no time to do research at this point. Does anyone have anything like this handy? In addition, I"m going to give statistics like picture book with most checkouts, chapter books with most checkouts, etc. If anyone knows what other fun information I can get through Destiny reports (I'm a very new user), please send suggestions my way.
