I am writing an article about author visits and am wondering if there is any research about the impact of a visit on students' reading, beyond a warm fuzzy feeling when they pick up the work of someone they have met. This is particularly for primary (elementary) students. I have the two articles available in TEACHER LIBRARIAN but if anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate them .
