[LM_NET] Looking for book title/author

My aide was asking me about some books that she had when she was around 5 
years old (late 60s / early 70s). 

It was a set of books - one book in the set was Little Bear, the other 
book had a boy named Max who flew around holding an umbrella, and the 
third book had 2 or 3 boys (one had glasses) that find a bottle with a 
message in it on a beach, and they had to use a mirror to read the message 
because it was backwards (she also said there may have been a fourth book 
in the set)
