Good Morning, A teacher and I are trying to come up with a picture book in which one or more of the characters demonstrates the use of or is a victim of propaganda or bias. This is a standard within the teacher's reading curriculum, and our state standards require recognizing an author's bias. An example given in the reading series used by the teacher is the advertising used in pioneer days to convince settlers to go west. So, do any of you have any ideas of books that would help demonstrate the concepts of either bias or propaganda? One example: Scieszka, Jon. The true story of the 3 little pigs.
