[LM_NET] Retirement Thoughts

My friend made this list for me.  I think it is clever.  Perhaps you may want to 
save it for future use when some librarian you know retires.

Now that you are retired:

When you hear the word "spine," it will be a body part.
When you hear the terms "check in or check out," you better be in a hotel on 
vacation.
You can forget how to alphabetize.
You can stay in your pajamas all day, if you wish.
The season of summer will now have 3 months.
The only "short" people you need to see are grandchildren.
You'll have time to arrange your personal library using the "phooey" system.
You can live it up--have dessert for breakfast.
You can go to early, midday or even late night movies.
You can roll over and sleep on those "it might snow" days.
If you feel the urge to put things on display, wait until Christmas.
The only bar code you will need is "with or without an olive."
