[LM_NET] ELEM: Alternatives to traditional curriculum nights?

Does anyone's school do something different than the curriculum night when 
families/parents come in to hear about the expectations for the school year?  Our 
attendance at these have been dwindling every year, and I am trying to find some 
alternative suggestions that we might try next year.  Does anyone do anything 
online?  Skype?  Something else?  All ideas will be shared!
