I did a keyword search using the word "slavery" in IMDB. Here is the link with 
hundreds of hit that you can further narrow by genre. If the link doesn't work the 
web address is just imdb.com

Here is an email I received from our ESE teacher.  Her students are very needy.  
Does anyone have any suggestions?
  
  My full time ESE group is completing a unit on equality and slavery during civil 
war times.
  
  I wanted to show a movie on Friday that possibly ties or has some relevance to 
the topic. It needs to be on a low enough cognitive level to hold their attention 
and comprehension.
  
  I have not been able to think of anything along those lines. do you have any 
ideas or suggestions?
