A new pointer has been added to the Media Library menu, The University of
Waterloo in Canada.  Waterloo has a searchable database of more then
40,000 titles.  I have also added a subdirectory for resources appropriate
to film and video.  Take a look at the film & video review databases and
the film & video resources file as well as C. Smith's, I Saw it on TV.

From the main menu select:
Library Catalogs & Gophers
  Instructional Media Libraries (film & video)


From the Purdue University Computing Center's (PUCC) UNIX or
VM style terminals, you may access THOR+ from you personal
account by typing 'gopher' at the prompt, this will invoke
the gopher client on your system.

If your computer is directly connected to the Internet, you
may use one of the several free clients that are available
to access Purdue's THOR+.  If your computer is not directly
connected, you may telnet to:
         thorplus.lib.purdue.edu

At the login prompt type:
         cwis

A limited number of THOR+ machines are located in the
Instructional Media Center on the lower level of the John W.
Hicks Undergraduate Library.
