Microsoft ENCARTA for Windows

Hi Netters:
Maybe you can help me.  We recently purchased Microsoft ENCARTA for
Windows.  We love the information it provides.  The problem is with its
printing.  Somehow ENCARTA uses the Windows's WRITE word processor to print
the textual portions of its content.  When we go to print, although we have
identified the IBM dot-matrix Proprinter as the default printer, it
attempts to print in an EXCEEDINGLY slow laser-type font.  I located a
portion of Windows that allows you to change fonts, but this does not
appear to help.  Can you assist a new ENCARTA and WINDOWS user?
