We have a wonderful, creative social studies teacher in the school (Her
last project, on Incas and Mayas, had students create travel brochures for
people traveling back into those cultures). She is looking for a short
project for her Global 4 class (they are now studying World War II). She
would be interested in having them do anything related to World War II, or,
if you have anything for the time-frame after that, she'd be interested in
that, too.
An important note: this is a content-area class for limited English
proficient students. It is a mixed ability grou, meaning that some of the
students might be in ESL 3 while others are in ESL 9 or 10. So if you have
an idea of "easier" projects (something that you might have younger classes
do), that would be great for those with a lower proficiency level.
You all have been great at sending really great suggestions in the past,
so I know that you will come through this time.
        TIA!
