I was talking to technical support Friday and EBS has been bought by Scholastic. One of the changes will be the ability to purchace titles individually. Since I scan each disk in the catalog and purchase the ones that most closely fit my collection and avoid the most duplication, this is a wonderful change. The person I talked with seemed very excited about the proposed changes Scholastic is making. I have been using this program for 10 or more years and it just keeps getting better. I started with an Apple stand-alone version and each time I upgrade (first to a standalone Dos and now to network) they have credited every dime I spent towards the upgrade. Talk about getting your money's worth. Having never used AR, I don't feel I can debate which is better. I can, however, say I never regretted getting EBS. Their support has been wonderful and the people on the other end of the line have always been courteous and friendly.
