TARGET: grant sources for automating libraries

Dear Collective Brain:
First an introduction as I am new to the list and this is my first posting.
I am in a new full-time position acting as support for seven elementary
schools who have library aides in their libraries.   The first thing I did,
my first day at work when my computer was connected was subscribe to LM
NET - what a great resource!

Here is my question -  where can I find grant resources to purchase library
automation software for our district?  I searched the LM NET archives and
although I found other requests for information, I never found a "hit".
I did find out about the grants the US Dept. of Ed. offer but they seem to
be focused on the technology end of things - lots of hardware and networking
money.  The same thing with AASL grants and others I looked at.
