LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Hi everyone.
I know many of you have just returned to school and are looking to write to
Australian students during the Olympic Games.
However please be aware that the ACT and NSW start spring break for three
weeks today; Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia start next
Friday (which is the day the Games begin); Western Australia starts on the
22nd (mid way through) which only leaves the Northern Territory (the least
populated area) at school during the Games.
So you may not have a lot of luck!
And those of you who have been online all through your summer vacation will
forgive me if I point those returning to the list of Olympic Links on the
Palmerston home page (http://www.palmdps.act.edu.au > scroll across and
down to the Olympic Links icon > scroll down the page for the sector you
are interested in) There is also a page called Australia Online with a
link from the home page which includes a Fast Facts section.
