Evening all, September 11, 2001 is a day we will never forget. This morning when we heard the news, all teachers were notified through e-mail shortly after 9 a.m. By noon, each grade was gathered together to discuss the horrific events. Some teachers thought it was premature because they were not even able to answer some of the questions that students were asking. Many parents came to pick up their children throughout the whole day. There were no TV's on in classrooms nor were there radios for students and teachers to listen to. School counselors were available for students all day for students. I can only pray for all the people whose lives were lost and the families they leave behind. God bless them all.
