Lessons of Sept. 11

Living in a quiet bedroom community, our citizens have silently accepted our
vulnerability in regard to our proximity to Boston and New York, and to
several military and aircraft producers.  But nothing prepares us - or
anyone - for this.  Our high school media center has the only cable
connection in the building.  Once again people turned to us to be reliable
sources of information.  We will continue to assume that awesome task, and
unique privilege.
