I had the tv on in the media center office where teachers came and went
as they had time to watch.  We didn't have it on for students (k-5).
This afternoon the FBI office in town received a telephone bomb threat
to the county schools and the courts.  All 29 schools in our corporation
then were evacuated for about 30 minutes until the building scan was
done.  Our students were great, they took books and materials outside to
work on.  They were told it was a fire drill but we had to be out a
little longer than a usual fire drill.  Since the weather was so nice,
the kids didn't want to go back inside!  We are all stunned by todays
events.  What a shock to hear at the end of the school day that gas
prices were jumping up from $1.49 to $3.50 and higher!  They are now
back down some to 1.99.  Amazing!
