I want to add my thanks to this message as well.

To our friends in other countries . . .

In this awful time, it is easy to feel like an isolated "target" without
allies or support. Your messages of grief and support have reminded us that
we are not alone, that we have the support of an outraged world community of
friends, and that prayers are being offered on our behalf around the world.
In a time where it seems there will be no comfort, you have reached out to
help. You can't know how much that has meant to me, and to all of us here.
Thank you.
