Hi everyone-- I don't think these have been mentioned yet, and I hate to even commit them to cyberspace! I'm a native Oklahoman transplanted to Kansas, and I think my list could be infinite between the southern Oklahoma jargon I grew up with and the German influenced Kansas language I hear now. Alltimer's Disease (for Alzheimer's). . . one relative says this, and I grind my teeth! I'm going to Warshington (Washington)to do some shopping. . . this one generally comes from another relative. How's your dad doing with his prostrate cancer? Does one get cancer from being in a prone position? Mrs. Mulch, I have went there before.
