A number of years ago, my husband and I checked out a recording of Senator Sam Ervin ( of Watergate fame). In this recording he talked of "down-home" wisdom he had acquired over the years. It was, I believe, a memoir sort of thing. Now, of course, our public library no longer has it and I can find no other information about it. I am hoping that some fellow pack-rat librarian may have this. I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee (including postage) for it.
