Fellow LM_NETTERS: My husband is possibly being transferred to the Grand Rapids, Michigan area by the end of the year 2002. My question is this. Does Michigan allow certified teachers who are in the process of obtaining their MLS work as interim until it is completed? Also, does anyone know of any positions that might be open in that area? I know it will be mid-year, however the market for MLS positions seems to be opening up, at least in Iowa. I'm sure I can wait until the Fall of 2003 to find a position. I was just curious about the districts there and the job trends. Thanks for all of your help.
