Not to be flippant (oh why stop now) -- but - I have discovered in my 42
years as a librarian that if the lights are on and the door is unlocked the
library is working beautifully - according to far too many administrators  -
and, of course, they don't have a clue what should be happening. A major
reason why it is often so difficult for administrators to observe us or
write evaluations!
