Our curriculum director has asked all district media specialists to take =
the initiative to find ways to help classroom teachers utilized lexile =
reading scores. What are some ways that you have been able to "educate" =
and facilitate the process of guiding teachers to an awareness of =
lexiles instead of grade level reading for students. =20
The concept of lexiles will be relatively new to our staff so we want to =
proceed effectively. Please share with us how you have promoted the use =
of lexiles with your teachers. Do you label books? Are your lexile =
rankings in the MARC records? We would welcome any ideas you would be =
