I just have one comment.  In a high school with a large collection (mine is 25,000 
books) I would still want a pretty good sized reference collection just for quick 
use.  Many of the reference type books would get lost in my regular shelves.  I 
have already moved a lot to regular shelves and we always check out reference books 
overnight and ask if students need them for a longer time period.
