Hello everyone,
This is my first posting to the list. I am a graduate student at SUNY Albany in
LMS program. I am working on a class "transgenerational" project that involves a
group of grad students working with a group of undergrads to develop a web-based
project in collaboration with a 2nd grade classroom teacher. The teacher would
like the students to learn about several important African Americans (anyone
besides Martin Luther King because they already have a lot of info on him). The
teacher is finding it difficult to find materials geared to the students' level of
understanding. We are looking for biographical information that would be
appropriate for second graders. Any suggestions for books and/or websites would be
greatly appreciated.
