I remember reading on this list about "paying" your fines through reading time. I think it is a great idea, and want to implement it-we will be taking TAKS tests next week (7th and 8th grades) and all they can do afterwards is read---my question is this...how much time do you guys think is reasonable for set amounts of money. In other words, if a kiddo needs to pay off a $2.00 fine, how much reading do you all think is reasonable for that?
