Thank you to those who responded to my request for websites that have great appeal
to the
10-year-olds (approx) and which offer games, quizzes, challenges etc but which have
very heavy
advertising content (explicit or implicit).

The best response I got was Cybersmart http://www.cybersmart.org/home/ particularly
http://www.cybersmartcurriculum.org/lesson_plans/45_11.asp I had already found
this but "lost" it.
It provides a fabulous lesson on the topic with links to the sorts of websites I
wanted.

Other sites were
http://www.nabiscoworld.com/

http://disney.go.com/games/#/games/

http://www.be-bratz.com/

http://barbie.everythinggirl.com/

http://www.buildabear.com/play/default.aspx?sc_hpan=tabs&sc_hpdr=tabs_play

http://play.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx

http://www.naughtynaughtypets.com/

 http://www.scholastic.com/kids

http://www.hotwheels.com/index_hwkids.aspx
