LM_NET Archive

Hi Marissa-
For staff, I had always set up a display of new materials with little
paper "pop-ups" coming out of some of the books to indicate those which
might have a specific curricular connection. I also provided treats and
had raffles for items I picked up as freebies/SWAG at conferences (would
also include an autographed copy or two or books I had signed). This is
also a great time to have computers set up for folks to view any new
databases or new features to the library website.

I invited staff to come in on a "drop-in" basis -more like an open house
so it wouldn't interfere with their work or meetings.
