Hi Marissa- For staff, I had always set up a display of new materials with little paper "pop-ups" coming out of some of the books to indicate those which might have a specific curricular connection. I also provided treats and had raffles for items I picked up as freebies/SWAG at conferences (would also include an autographed copy or two or books I had signed). This is also a great time to have computers set up for folks to view any new databases or new features to the library website. I invited staff to come in on a "drop-in" basis -more like an open house so it wouldn't interfere with their work or meetings. Ann Mansfield, Nat'l Bd.
