I generally try to gather some of the latest Newbery and Caldecott Award
posters at library conferences so that I can share them with our pre-service
teachers and librarians when they study children's literature and are
required to read the 75-100 books each semester; however, I have given all
of my 2008 posters out and have absolutely nothing to share with our
students when the semester begins.

Does anyone have any contact information for a vendor (for companies such as
Follett, Perma-Bound, etc.) who might be able to provide us with some copies
of those wonderful Newbery and Caldecott Award posters that are available
free of charge at conferences? My children's literature professors are
always amazed that I have some of these for the students (I guess they don't
realize that librarians get them at conferences---or maybe we just don't
hang out at the same types of conferences), but they're always a hit!

If a vendor is lurking and can offer some posters, I'd love to talk with
them privately. Thanks for helping with this unique request...but it's the
small things that always make the new teachers happiest! I'd love to
continue the trend!

Thanks again!
