Below is the Seuss-like poem I wrote a few years back (revised in 2007) and have
been sharing the past few years. Feel free to use at your school.
No matter what shape…
No matter what size…
Step in the library…
And give your spirit a rise!
Read a Seuss book...
Read one I say…
Then read another…and another…
And another all day.
Read Seuss books…
From morn until night.
Go to bed late
And get up all bright.
Read them…and read them…
And read them some more.
And you will be happy
As never before.
