Thank you for all the responses to my question about what are good sources for book reviews of middle school books. Here is the list: VOYA reviews only young adult books. The website is http://www.voya.com. This one had the most responses. Follett's Titlewave www.titlewave.com. You do have to subscribe, but it's free. They have reveiws from SLJ, Booklist, Kirkus, etc. Also list awards received, reading and interest levels, etc. Library Media Connection - used to be called Book Report. Booklist - publishes reviews only for books it recommends. Breaks kids' reviews into 3 levels. Published twice a month. School Library Journal Reviews attached to many titles at www.mackin.com Junior Library Guild website: www.juniorlibraryguild.com Some reviews are available only to sbscribers, some free. Horn Book - online version has all of reviews from back issues as well as current. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
