Hi Everyone, I have been doing a month long research project with eleventh graders. I taught them to write research questions, and take notes on the questions they wrote. However, they are now having a hard time turning their notes into an actual paper. Most of the students didn't write enough notes to begin with. Now we are running out of time, and I feel like I'm at a loss of how I can help these students. I didn't realize that most of the students do not know how to write. The first draft is due this Thursday. Does anyone have any ideas or lessons that could help me teach these students how to transform their notes into an actual paper? Thanks for your help.
