[LM_NET] TARGET: off topic - Verizon cell phone/text messages saving help !!!

Hi,

I have a 22 year old who wants to transfer text messages (SMS) from her Voyager 
Verizon phone to her MacBook Pro laptop (or my Dell PC) so that she can save them 
on a computer.  She downloaded a program called BitPim and couldn't get her phone 
to run with it.  We e-mailed Verizon for help and haven't heard back from them.  

For those of you out there, has anyone done this process with a Voyager or other 
Verizon phone ?  If so, please let me know specifically how you went about it.  
This is coming from someone who doesn't even text, so your help, as always, is 
appreciated.
