[LM_NET] Target:: Book Challenge Lush, Natasha Friend

Dear Wise Ones:

I have had Lush, by Natasha Friend, in my middle school library since 2006 with no 
complaints or problems.  I learned yesterday that a parent of one of our sixth 
graders is challenging the book as "one that doesn't belong in any middle school" 
because of its comments pertaining to sex.  If anyone has had experience with this 
book being challenged or even questioned, would you please contact me? I will need 
to confer with my principal first thing Monday morning and would like to have some 
"experienced opinions" to take with me.  Thanks in advance for your help.
