Thanks for the responses that cleared up my confusion.
It was a message about a *new book* - *Nurture Shock* by Bronson and
Merryman.

My husband (the TechEd guy) and I are very interested in this concept as we
are always be asked about "online bullying" and our Middle School is
focusing on bullying now.

Does* David Gets in Trouble* generate new ideas on cat torture or do
children really understand what a guilty conscious is, and what
unconditional love means? I am sure we all address talk up the "moral" of
the story - but does the visual of a screaming cat seem more appealing?

I went to book website as was a little put-off by the slickness. Not sure I
will order this one in.

What research is behind this?

Thanks,
Jennie
