We've been laminating the covers too large for our commercial stock for
4-5 years. The lamination holds up EXTREMELY well. If you use barcodes,
I'd recommend putting them on on _top_ of the lamination because the
thickness may cause problems with scanning. Also, if you decide to rebind
that book the bindery (at least the one we use) can't use the original
book jacket if it is laminated.
