On Friday, April 8 we will be demonstrating the Internet at a Community
Interaction day in our school. We would appreciate any greeting from
fellow LM_NETters. We will be making the presentation to other staff
members and parents from our school community.
A bit of information about our school. We are a rural elementary school,
with a population of about 300 students, in Crescent Valley, British
Columbia. If you are trying to locate us on a map, we are in South
Central B.C. (near Nelson) in a region known as the Kootenays. It is a
beautiful, scenic, mountainous area. (Some of you may remember Nelson as
the setting for the Steve Martin movie "Roxanne"). About 50% of our
student population is of Russian descent, and we offer Russian as a
Heritage Language from kindergarten on.
Thank you in advance for your correspondence! Please use the subject
"Hello Crescent Valley" in your message. Thanks! Marilyn and Angie
