Dear Colleagues,

If any of you attended the regional public hearings about Mass
Ed Online on April 4th or April 5th, I would be interested in hearing from
you. I am especially interested in getting copies of the handouts or of any
important notes taken. I plan to attend the April 27th session at Greater
New Bedford Voc/Tech, and your input would help me to be better prepared.

The following email letter explains why the reports are not yet
available online. The attached memo lists the dates and times for the
hearings as of March15th.

Hope you find this information useful.

                                        Best wishes,
                                        Jane Constant

Sorry for not having responded to your earlier request. Unfortunately,
there have been no new developments in getting Mass Ed Online documents
available via electronic means. We do expect them to be available in May.

Hard copies and disks will soon be available, at cost, from CELT.
Estimates for hard copies of the entire study (all phases) is $145.
You may wish to wait for the electronic connection, in particular that, thus
far, only phase 3 has been accepted and ready for public consumption.

I hope to see you at one of the regional hearings. CELT will present on
current status --- yes, new materials from those presented in December.

Again, my appologies for lack of public information regarding the study. It
seems the faster we proceed to develop a viable, worthwhile plan, more
cogs are found to slow the progress. We are about two weeks behind schedule,
as we endeavor to amend previous phases while continuing with current phases.
I believe it is well worth the wait to ensure the appropriateness of all
aspects of the study. Please, I beg your patience.

Good News!!! Angela Barba Ireton, project director, is the proud mother of
Victoria born last night (3/30)! Both mom and daughter are doing well!!
