LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Our social studies department is interested in titles for their summer reading
program. The first request is from grade 7 for fiction books dealing with
Native Americans (north or south). The second request is for grade 8 level
fiction books appropriate for their curriculum which covers the Civil War to
the present. Since they begin the semester with the Civil War, they would want
a summer book that is closer to that time period though. The last request is
for the 10th grade. Their curriculum covers the Middle East, ancient and
modern Europe and the Eastern Block countries. If anyone has come across
exceptional fiction books that fit these requests, I would appreciate hearing
