LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Dear friends,
This is my first time to send a request to all LM_NET friends; I have
been lurking now for about a month. If I don't perform this correctly,
please let me know *quietly* and *privately*!
What general and/or specific suggestions can you provide that will help my
district design an information center that will serve grades 9-12?
Our enrollment is 950 and projections indicate it will peek at 1350. The
bond issue for the new building was 12 million dollars. The architect
indicates an allocation of 6500 square feet for the information center.
Currently all AV materials are bought and housed in individual
departments, but I would like to see that changed...I think.
I am a solo librarian, but I have formally requested an aide for the next
school year.
