Envirolink.  As mentioned it has additional services beyond
environmental issues and topics. ( for how to get there
see the former post on 4/30 )

examples are >> go to menu item 11. INTERNET AND IT'S SERVICES

                some of the finds are>>
                        1  all electronic journals
                        3  electronic books -- the classics
                        15 USENETnews
                        9  internet services
                        12 other gopher servers

the other gopher servers include all the gophers in the world

the journals, world gopher and classics should be a major set of sources for
those who have to pay fees to other servers for the same info

OR it would make a good backup for when your regular server is 'fullup'
or down for the count.
