It will soon be our favorite time in Texas - no, not Christmas, but TAAS time. This is a type of achievement test. My principal has decided that in order to improve our school's scores I (librarian) can begin a pull-out program to help students with previously low scores. I would like to be ready for our next discussion meeting with ways I can teach these objectives by incorporating them (or any achievement test objectives) into library skills lessons. This is for middle school. Do any of you have any suggestions for how to approach this? Needless to say, My hands are full with library duties without having to add teaching test objectives. I would appreciate any help you can give. Many thanks in advance! Kay Hughes kfh@tenet.edu
