In our district, the state technology money was allocated on a per/student basis. The individual schools get to decide, with their site-based teams and/or technology committes, how to spend the money. BUT, the curriculum director stated in his directions to the schools, that the library media center's ability to serve students utilizing technology MUST be addressed in the plans, and that plans not including libraries will be handed back to those schools for revision. I believe he is looking for all libraries to show something, not necessarily be equal. Hope this helps! Shellie Mueller entiat@u.washington.edu
